This nail art exhibit showcases nail art as a fine art medium that tells stories of the human condition, while expressing the generational traditions of self-care, community, hood therapy, and love. The show will focus on Black and Brown nail artists in LA, and highlighting how pioneering these specific groups of artists are and their contribution to The Culture. 

This exhibit has been curated to emphasize the specific nail art aesthetic of Los Angeles, as opposed to other areas. All participating nail artists will create works of art to showcase the endless applications that the concept of nail art can be applied to. This show is meant to exemplify the notion that the only difference between nail artists and traditional artists is the size of their brushes.
